Małopolska Centre for Entrepreneurship (MCP) is a self-government organisational unit of the Małopolska Region established on 29th October 2007 in order to implement European funds.
MCP serves as the Intermediate Body for the European Funds for Małopolska 2021-2027 (FEM) program in activities related to supporting entrepreneurship, regional energy policy, labor market, education and social projects. MCP is responsible for organizing competitions, providing information on ongoing recruitment processes, assessing submitted applications for funding, settling them and controlling them.
The area of operation of the Małopolska Entrepreneurship Center is the territory of the Małopolska Voivodeship. European funds transferred to FEM beneficiaries through MCP contribute to the socio-economic development of the region. The unit is supervised by the Małopolska Voivodeship Board.
In the years 2014-2020, MCP implemented the activities of the Regional Operational Program of the Małopolska Voivodeship, and in the years 2007-2013, Priority Axis 2 of the Małopolska Regional Operational Program for 2007-2013 – „Regional Opportunity Economy”.
For over 16 years, the Małopolska Entrepreneurship Center has been successfully implementing activities aimed at entrepreneurs, business environment institutions, local governments, non-governmental organizations and other entities that care about Małopolska enterprises and social cohesion and education in the Małopolska Voivodeship.
MCP implements tasks commissioned by the regional government and the Management Board: from the Małopolska Regional Operational Programme for 2007-2013 in the scope of Priority axis II „Economy of regional opportunity”, the aim of which was to increase the competitiveness of the micro, small and medium enterprises, the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region 2014-2020 and programme European Funds in Malopolska 2021-2027 in the field of entrepreneurship, social policy and education.
